Development of New and Modification of Proposed Electrical Insulation Materials.
Both well established and new, promising electrical insulating materials are tested, and further modified to change morphology and intrinsic properties.

The possibilities to apply nanotechnology or additives for the enhancement of the long term properties of the materials is examined. Further, barrier materials will be included in electrical designs in attempt to reduce diffusion of liquids and gases.
