The seminar focused on technical communication between stakeholders with an assignment to support safety at sea for the mariners.  The MarSafe project did together with the Royal Norwegian Navy (RNoN) perform tests on communication possibilities of Galileo and Egnos on a sailing from Sptitsbergen to Kirkenes.  During the seminar use of wearable antennas was demonstrated, as well as use of WiMAX as one technology for communication of broadband data.
