Extreme and fatigue analysis of structural components with complex geometry. FEM software developed specifically for each application (BFLEX for flexible pipes and UFLEX for umbilical cables) allows the evaluation of tensile load, bending, torsion and internal and external pressure, including contact and frictional effects of several components. The constant validation and calibration of models trough experimental results ensure a highly reliable tool for analysis and design of these structures.
