In total, eight PhD fellowships and sixteen years of post-doctoral fellowships are planned. The fellowships will be distributed across all research pillars and topics.

PhD fellowships will likely be distributed as follows:

• Sea load exposure (3),
• Prevention and control of bio-fouling (1),
• Sorting and handling of live fish (1),
• Monitoring and control of water quality (1) and
• Control and optimisation of production (2). 

Post-doctoral fellowships will likely be distributed as follows:

• Reducing escapes and pollution (3 years),
• Net handling and operations (2 years),
• Feeding systems (2 years),
• Fish welfare (3 years),
• Monitoring and control of water quality (3 years) and
• Traceability (3 years).
