Transport of CO₂ links CO₂ capture and storage. The challenge in offshore CO₂ transport is primarily related to pipeline integrity and lies in making suitable modelling tools, obtaining experimental data, and formulating new specifications and requirements. Further, the transported CO₂ will be mixed with other components, and more and better experimental measurements on the thermo-physical properties of these mixtures are needed.
