Nye energiløsninger
SINTEF Materials and Chemistry, Energy Conversion
In view of the global challenges related to green house gas (GHG) emissions and energy supply, electrochemical energy conversion technologies, such as capacitors, fuel cells and batteries are becoming increasingly important in the energy system. Applications ranges from the storage of energy produced from renewable sources to portable electronics.

The energy conversion group conducts research (fundamental and applied) in the field of electrochemical energy conversion. The principle focus on the group's research is within fuel cell technology, electro catalysis and analytical chemistry.
