Laboratorier

Our laboratories were completely renovated in 2006 and hold high standards in work safety and health. They are equipped according to our research focus; Energy Conversion. This includes test stations and instruments for general electrochemical characterization of fuel cells, solar cells, batteries, capacitors and other possible electrochemical devices or components related to such technologies.  We also have extensive experience in fluorine chemistry, which is based on an in-house developed laboratory technology as well as state-of -the-art commercial equipment. In addition, a comprehensive range of demonstration units for different kinds of hydrogen technologies is made available together with the university here (NTNU).

Instrumentation

The group Energy Conversion group share laboratory facilities with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at NTNU, and has therefore has easy access to a large range of advanced equipment. Below, our main laboratory instrumentation is listed, but almost any (electro)chemical and analytical instruments and methods are available on our shared premises.
