The staff of SINTEF ICT, Department of Applied Mathematics has been conducting consultancy work since the early 1980s, in areas related and unrelated to SISL and its predecessor. The geometry group has a staff of 8 experts in CAGD, many of whom have Ph.Ds. Much of the work conducted in the department is for industrial customers, using SISL among other software libraries as the basis for development.
